The highway I-10 begins in Jacksonville. The road in Florida that parallels I-10 is highway 90. I have the pleasure of living near this road as it meets the ocean. I venture along the I-10 road as it crosses the Florida panhandle in a six-hour trek to the next state, Alabama.
I have also been at the other end of I-10 where it ends in California. One of the things on my bucket list is to drive the entire I-10 stretch, even in the dullest of driving, just to have a complete photographic collection. If you live within a 40 minute drive from any parts of I-10 between Pensacola and California and could offer a couch or room as I pass through, please drop me a line. I would like to do this sometime in the 2017 year.

Suwanee River State Park I do enjoy park hunting. This park has cabins. You know that song... yes, now you have it in your head for a while. You're welcome

There is a fabulous bell system in the tower. When I was there, it was the Christmas season and Christmas music as well as other melodies were playing at designated times.
There are many trails and well managed walking areas in and around this park. Awesome place to get away with the kids and get the electronics out of their hands enough to explore.
